Follow these steps to install your ORA eSIM using the QR code. We recommend doing this one day before you travel so it’s ready when you land:
1. 🔑 Log In & Reveal Your QR Code
Visit orasim.io and sign in to your ORA account.
Navigate to “My eSIM Portfolio.”
Select the plan you want to install.
Switch to the “Installation” tab and tap “Use QR Code” to display it on screen.
2. ⚙️ Open Android Settings
Tap the Settings app on your Android device.
Select Connections (or Network & Internet on some models).
3. ➕ Access the SIM Card Manager
Tap SIM card manager (or SIMs).
Tap Add mobile plan (or Add eSIM—depending on your device).
4. 🔳 Scan or Tap the QR Code
In the “Set up mobile plan” screen, choose Scan QR code (or simply point your camera at the QR image).
Point your phone’s camera at the ORA QR code on-screen (or tap the QR code if you’re already viewing it on that same device).
When prompted, tap Add (or Install)—no extra menus are required.
5. ✅ Follow On-Screen Prompts
Android will download and configure the ORA eSIM profile automatically—this can take a minute.
When prompted, assign the ORA eSIM as your Data SIM if asked, or confirm it under Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data) by its provider name (e.g., “3HK eSIM” or “Ubigi Global eSIM”).
Tap Done once installation completes.
6. ✈️ Enable Data Roaming Before Departure
Return to Settings → Connections → SIM card manager (or Network & Internet → SIMs).
Select your newly installed ORA eSIM and toggle Data Roaming ON.
Make sure Data Roaming is OFF for any other SIM profiles to avoid accidental charges.
🎒 That’s it! Your ORA eSIM is now installed on your Android device and will auto-activate upon landing.
