How to Enable Data Roaming for Your ORA eSIM

To ensure your ORA eSIM activates properly when you arrive at your destination, you’ll need to enable Data Roaming on your device.

Follow the steps below for your operating system.

🍎 How to Enable Data Roaming on iOS

  1. Open Settings

    • Tap the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Go to Cellular (or Mobile Service)

    • Scroll down and select Cellular (on some devices it may be called Mobile Service).

  3. Select Your ORA eSIM Profile

    • Under Cellular Plans, tap the ORA eSIM you installed (it will be named after its provider, for example “3HK eSIM” or “Ubigi Global eSIM”).

  4. Enable Data Roaming

    • In the plan settings, toggle Data Roaming to On.

    • This allows the ORA eSIM to connect to local networks once you land.

Note: Steps may vary slightly depending on your Android model and OS version.

  1. Open Settings

    Tap the Settings app on your Android device.

  2. Go to Connections (or Network & Internet)

  3. Select Mobile Networks

  4. Enable Data Roaming

    • Find your ORA eSIM in the list by its provider name (e.g., “3HK eSIM” or “Ubigi Global eSIM”).

    • Toggle Data Roaming to On for this profile.

    • Make sure Data Roaming is Off for any other SIM or eSIM to prevent unintended charges.

📱 How to Enable Data Roaming on Google Pixel

  1. Open Settings

  2. Go to Network & Internet or Connections

  3. Select SIMs

  4. Choose Your ORA eSIM Profile

    • Under SIMs, find the ORA eSIM (it may display as “3HK eSIM”, “Ubigi Global eSIM”, or similar).

    • Ensure that this eSIM is active (toggle switch turned on).

  5. Enable Data Roaming

🎉 That’s it! Once Data Roaming is enabled on your ORA eSIM, it will automatically connect to the local network as soon as you land in your destination country.
