Does an eSIM require a data plan?

Yes, an ORA eSIM profile by itself won’t connect to any network. You must purchase (and install) a valid ORA data plan (or voice + data plan) for the eSIM to work. Without an active plan, your eSIM cannot register on mobile towers, so you’ll have no service. 😊
