The eSIM was receiving data service, but my data service stopped working

Updated over a month ago

If your ORA eSIM suddenly stops providing data, try these quick checks:

  1. Check Your Data Balance & Expiry 📊⌛
    • Log in to “My eSIM Portfolio” and confirm you haven’t used all your GB or passed the plan’s expiry date.
    • If you’re out of data, click “Top-Up” to add more immediately.

  2. Poor Network Coverage? 📶❌
    • You may be in a low-signal area. Try toggling Airplane Mode On → Off to force a reconnection to the nearest tower.
    • If you’re in a building or basement, move to an open spot and test again.

  3. Restart Your Device 🔄📱
    • Power off your phone completely, wait 10 seconds, then power it back on, this clears minor network glitches.

  4. Verify Data Roaming Is Active 🌍✅
    • Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data) → [ORA eSIM] and ensure Data Roaming is turned ON (green).
    • Make sure any other SIM/eSIM profiles have roaming OFF to avoid conflicts.

  5. Force LTE/4G (Optional) 🎯
    • In Settings → Cellular → [ORA eSIM] → Voice & Data, switch from 5G to LTE (or 4G/3G) if 5G coverage is spotty in your area.
