If your Android device can’t connect to the internet using your ORA eSIM, follow these steps exactly:
1. Check If the Plan Was Activated ✅
Visit How to Activate Your ORA eSIM to confirm your plan is installed and active.
Make sure you scanned the QR code (or did a manual install), and see the plan listed under Settings → Connections → SIM card manager.
2. Disconnect from Wi-Fi 📶
3. Ensure the ORA eSIM Is Enabled & Preferred 🔄
Go to Settings
Tap Connections.
SIM card manager
Select Your ORA eSIM Profile (e.g., “3HK eSIM” or “Ubigi Global eSIM”) and toggle it On
Tap Mobile Data (or Mobile networks → Mobile data)
Confirm your ORA eSIM (e.g., “3HK eSIM” or “Ubigi Global eSIM”) is selected as the active data source.
4. Check if Data Roaming Is Enabled 🌍
Go to Settings
Tap Connections.
Tap Mobile Networks:
Make sure Data Roaming is toggled On for your ORA eSIM.
5. Reboot Your Android Device 🔄
Press & Hold the Power button (or Power + Volume Down) to open the power menu.
Select Restart, or hold Power until the phone powers off and then back on.
6. Disable 5G & Force LTE/4G 🎯
Go to Settings
Tap Connections.
Tap Mobile Networks:
Tap the eSIM you wish to configure:
Select Preferred Network Type.
Uncheck 5G and choose LTE (or 4G/3G).
7. Select Network Operator Manually 🛰️
Go to Settings
Tap Connections.
Tap Mobile Networks:
Tap Network Operators.
Choose Your ORA Provider’s Network (for example, “3HK” or “Ubigi Global”).
8. Toggle Flight Mode On and Off ✈️
9. Configure APN (Access Point Name) Settings 🛠️
Go to Settings
Tap Connections.
Tap Mobile Networks:
Select Access Point Names
Tap “+” or Add (ensure your ORA eSIM is selected).
In the Name field, enter the APN value shown under your plan’s Technical Specifications (for example, it might be “internet” or a specific provider APN).
In the APN field, enter the same APN value.
Scroll to APN Type and set it to default,dun.
Leave all other fields blank.
Tap the three dots (⋮)
Select Save.
Select the new APN to enable it
